Review The Amish Quiltmaker’s Unruly In-Law by Jennifer Beckstrand is book 3 in the Amish Quiltmakers SeriesI have thoroughly enjoyed this entire series, this book has reminded me of yet another reason why I really enjoy the Amish culture and at the same time it also reminds me that like every culture they are also like everyone else and have faults and have to have time and space to come to grips with Forgiveness like everyone else.In this story you will meet young Ben Kiem and Linda Eicher as well as Ben’s sister in law Easter.You could read this as a stand alone book but I would suggest you read the series as you will get some back story and come to know a little about the characters.When do you say enough is enough and wash your hands of someone who continually goes out of their way to disappoint not only you but the whole community?When do you look beyond all the childish pranks and see that just maybe there is a person reaching out in the only way they know how for a lifeline?Like all Jennifer Beckstrand books you will be pulled into this story right from the beginning, the characters will both warm your heart and make you laugh. It’s a realistic look at how many young kids make childish mistakes then come to realize as they get older that life looks totally different than they thought as a youth. God really does work wonders in our life and this author shows us this.I highly suggest this book and series
